The FM80 is a self-contained, pressure-reducing fuel regulation module, designed and qualified as a CNG fuel regulator for up to 3600 psig (250 bar) compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicular fuel systems.

The FM80 CNG Fuel Regulation Module is designed to maintain an accurate and stable outlet pressure of natural gas fuel pressure over a large range of inlet pressures and flow rates. It is the world’s first and only system to be certified by CSA as per ANSI/NGV3.1. Natural gas vehicles use high-pressure cylinders to store CNG and then use it over time till a lower cut off pressure below which the engine flow demand cannot be sufficiently provided. The FM80 allows you to optimize the use of stored CNG by providing a low inlet cut off for higher fuel flows thereby improving usable range. The patented regulator uses heating system uses radiator fluid to operate smoothly in freezing temperatures. It is a piston style device that is more reliable in varying gas and ambient conditions It also offers a wide variety of built in options such as high pressure filter, shut off solenoid and pressure sensors to help reduce connections in the CNG fuel system.
